We provide comprehensive individualized mental health care across the life span. Our provider conducts an extensive psychiatric evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, and offers medication management and supportive individual psychotherapy.
Cognitive Function Development Therapy
Cognitive Function Development Therapy (CFDT) is a neuroscience based treatment modality that targets brain imbalances by promoting reallocation of neural resources for desired far-reaching transference effects. Using objective assessments of primary cognitive functions to direct treatment, CFDT targets lower functions to promote cognitive resource development, and produce a more adaptive nervous system functioning. CFD therapy utilizes dynamically interactive activities with either a competitive or collaborative presentation to stimulate and drive the targeted neuroplastic remodeling. Outcomes include reduced or eliminated dependence on medications, successful completion of traditional therapies, and achievements beyond clinical success such as improved relationships and better academic/vocational performance.
Genetic Testing
GeneSight Psychotropic test is a pharmacogenomic test that analyzes how your genes may affect medication outcome. Results can inform your provider about how you may break down or respond to certain medications commonly prescribed to treat depression, anxiety, and other psychiatric conditions.
The test is a simple cheek swab taken in your healthcare provider’s office or can be sent by your healthcare provider to be taken in the convenience of your home. See the link below for more information regarding insurance coverage, copays, and resources.
